Summary: The room itself was average, no bulb in the entry way ceiling light, but elevators and common areas reeked of smoke. Barking dog and slamming doors didnt help the experience. Canceled 2nd night stay.

Summary: Have stayed here multiple times for Notre Dame related events. Super convenience. Very quiet. Plenty of free parking. Check-in seemed like it was with a maintenance supervisor, but whatever, he checked us in. Room is big and basically clean. We went next door to the Holiday Inn Express for buffet breakfast (but I think this next door buffet is no longer available). Candlewood is great for its convenience and location. No frills but I don't care. It serves our needs. Would definitely recommend.
